Ericson Sonkarlay lives in the city of Ganta in Nimba County. He lives with his guardians, Pastor Philip Martin and his family. Ericson's father is dead and his mother and sisters live in Gblah, Nimba - his hometown. Ericson left his family to look for an opportunity to go to school. He wants to get an education so that he will be able to support his mother and siblings. Ericson studies in a class of 78 students. His favorite subjects are: economics, physics, English and history. He also enjoys singing worship songs at his church. LEF is proud to support Ericson, who says, "I want to improve myself in education." After high school, Ericson wants to pursue a degree in sociology or psychology at University.
